Here are a few frequently asked questions (FAQs) that you may have:

1. What is a co-active coach?

A co-active coach believes that the client is already creative, resourceful, and whole. They do not give advice or tell clients what to do. Instead, they ask powerful questions, listen, and empower clients to uncover their own answers. This creates sustainable change and helps clients fully engage in their personal and professional lives.

2. How does the coaching process work?

Our coaching relationship starts with a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. After that, we’ll meet for a 40-minute coaching session, usually once a week, where we will explore your goals, obstacles, and strategies. These sessions are tailored to your needs and can be conducted via phone call or Zoom.

3. How do I schedule a session?

You can use the contact form on the Contact page of this website to arrange your free initial consultation. After this session, we’ll discuss the best way to schedule future sessions.

4. How much does coaching cost?

Each 40-minute coaching session costs $75. If you choose to pre-book four sessions for a full month, you can get a discounted rate of $250. Special rates are available for individuals dealing with a mental health diagnosis and who are on disability.

5. Can coaching help me if I’m dealing with mental health issues?

Yes, coaching can provide a supportive space for personal development. As someone who has personally navigated the journey of mental health recovery, I offer compassionate guidance, resources, and understanding. Please note, however, that coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment, so it’s important to have those supports in place if you need them.

6. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Life happens, and I understand that. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice. This allows me to make the time available for other clients. Unfortunately, if less than 24 hours notice is given, the session fee cannot be refunded due to the commitment made to reserve that time.

7. What is the payment method?

All payments for coaching services are to be made in advance via PayPal. This ensures that the time you book is reserved exclusively for you. After the payment is received, you will receive a confirmation for your scheduled session(s). This process is in place to help both of us focus on your growth and development during the session, without having to worry about logistical details.
