Who I Am

In my own words…

I love people and am passionate about contributing positively to society. A gradual growing into maturity and purpose blended a variety of employment and life experiences that resulted in being educated by the highly acclaimed Coaches Training Institute.

My technology employment history, both paid and unpaid, includes creative solutions implementation both for systems and operations. My services history, both paid and unpaid, focused on interpersonal relationships, employment counselling and recruitment, and sharing knowledge. Both industry experiences include writing, training, facilitating, and implementing strategy.

A Catalyst for Change has been a description used at numerous organizational levels and personally to describe the impact and positive force I contribute.

My personal interests expand the social sphere and includes cultural curiosity, multiculturalism, religion, philosophy, and various social issues. As a communicator with insightful experiences I enjoy writing creatively through poems, stories, and articles that will resonate in the hearts and minds of others sharing the human experience. I’m also an avid lover of neighborhood coffee shops and meeting many colorful people to have many colorful conversations.

  • Launched privately owned HR Consulting Services focusing on recruitment, goal setting, and career management.
  • Led a team that successfully compiled and submitted a $1M+ proposal to HRSDC for a Case Management and Continuum of Care program suited to immigrant job seekers.
  • Developed workshop and training program curriculum according to needs of clientele.
  • Actively marketed and promoted a number of workshops resulting in very positive feedback.
  • Created and maintained a strong network with various employers to assist clients in finding work.

Facilitation and Coaching Skills

  • Facilitated various workshops ranging in topic from employment skills to training programs in the IT industry.
  • Certified in Coaching, Facilitation, and Training principles.
  • Engaged in one-to-one sessions with clients to identify barriers and establish goals to progress.
  • Successfully coached clients’ agendas relating to career, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.

  • Extremely skilled in all current computer programs and computer application design and business analysis.
  • Developed and provided tech support to various data bases and networks.
  • Managed and controlled project budget ranging in number from $2M to $200K per year.
